⭐️Spotlight- STEAM⭐️
Red Cross Elementary students Tanner Pierce and Norah Regenscheid have been taking their 3-D printing knowledge and skills to new levels! Each of these awesome Mustangs designed homes in our CAD (computer-aided design) software, and submitted their designs for 3-D printing in our RCE STEAM Lab. Tanner and Norah were presented with their homes, and both students already have more projects in the works!
Red Cross Elementary STEAM Lab teacher, Scott Johnson, begins introducing students to CAD software and creation as early as 2nd grade, and his hope is that by the time they finish at RCE, they have at least three to four years of software training/experience to utilize as a base for their future learnings.
This year alone, RCE Mustangs have 3-D printed tactile learning plates for students with vision disabilities, slow-feeder dog bowls for BRAWA, keychains, ornaments, replica soap for the “A Christmas Story” House Museum in Cleveland, Ohio, TCB awards for students who are recognized for positive achievements, and countless creations designed by students of all ages!
⚡️It’s never been a better time to “TCB @ RCE!”

The monthly board meeting recognized two of our very own.
⚡️Amanda Lockhart was recognized as Mentor of the Year.
⚡️Acey Houchens was recognized as Volunteer of the Year.
We are so proud of you all!

⭐️Student Spotlight⭐️ ⚡️ Ms. Crowe's 3rd grade class started reviewing for the KSA test today! The students reviewed their multiplication skills and shot a basketball based on how many questions their team answered correctly! Great job, Mustangs! ⚡️ Betsy Smith, a preschooler, helping a peer put her shoes on. Way to be kind, Betsy! ⚡️Mrs. Ashley's class planted flowers today. They also painted Mrs. Hendrick flowers for Assistant Principal's Week. How sweet!
