Tryouts for tomorrow, January 24th have been cancelled. We are still scheduled for tryouts next Saturday, January 31st. 7th grade will be from 3:00-5:00pm and 8th grade from 5:00-7:00pm in the JROTC building. The weather could change these dates and times. Your player must have a KHSAA sports physical to attend the tryout. For 7th grade 5:30-7:00PM and 8th grade will follow at 7:00-8:30PM.

Barren County Schools will be hosting "A Matter of Perspective" the Arts for All Kentucky 2026 Student Traveling Art Exhibit from January 12- 23 at the Trojan Art Gallery at Barren County High School.
The 2026 show includes work from three Barren County students: our own BCMS 8th grader Jesse Rister and BCHS 9th graders John Riley Christie and Bobby Kidd.
Arts for All Kentucky is a non-profit organization that promotes arts, education and creative expression for all. The Student Traveling Art Exhibit, “A Matter of Perspective” is an annual exhibit of original artwork created by students with disabilities from across Kentucky. The exhibit travels the state showcasing the work of these exceptional artists.
The exhibit is open to the public Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30- 4:30 or by appointment. A closing reception will be held on Thursday January 22 from 4:30- 6pm.

Are you ready to lace up your sneakers and hit the court for our spring season? We’re excited to announce that sign-ups are now open for our Intramural Basketball Spring Season! Whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting out, this is the perfect opportunity for you to show off your skills, make new friends, and have a blast!
Be sure to join if you are interested in some fun and friendly competition. The league has games and championship playoffs that your parents can come watch. This is a great opportunity to learn new techniques and improve your game with our awesome coaches.
